Terms of Service
Last updated: August 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of Dykho. By creating an account, filing a report, submitting a tip, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you're under 18, you should only use Dykho with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your reports and content
You're responsible for the accuracy of any case you file, including names, photos, and descriptions. Filing a knowingly false or malicious report — for either a missing or a found person — is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension and referral to the appropriate authorities. By uploading a photo or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and you grant Dykho a license to display it as part of the case listing.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, impersonate, or threaten another person through the platform.
- Submit fraudulent tips, fabricated cases, or knowingly false information.
- Publish private information about a third party without their consent, beyond what's needed to identify a missing or found person.
- Attempt to access another user's account or bypass platform security.
- Use tips or case data for solicitation, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to reunification.
4. Moderation
Every report is reviewed before it appears in public search. Administrators may approve, decline, edit, or remove any case, and may disable accounts that violate these terms. Moderation approval reflects that a report meets our publishing guidelines — it isn't a guarantee that every detail is accurate.
5. Tips are unverified
Tips submitted on a case are shared with the reporter and platform administrators as-is. Dykho doesn't independently verify tips before they're delivered. Treat every tip with appropriate caution, and always involve local law enforcement for anything that looks like a credible lead.
6. Not an emergency service
Dykho is a reporting and reunification network — it is not a law enforcement agency and cannot dispatch emergency responders. If someone is in immediate danger or a child has just gone missing, contact your local police or emergency services first.
7. Newsletter
Subscribing to newsletter updates is optional. You can unsubscribe at any time; see our Privacy Policy for details on how your subscription email is used.
8. Intellectual property
The Dykho name, logo, and platform design are the property of Dykho. You retain ownership of any content you submit, subject to the license described in Section 2.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Dykho is provided "as is." We work to keep the platform accurate and available, but we can't guarantee that every case will be resolved or that every tip will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Dykho isn't liable for outcomes arising from information shared on the platform.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Dykho and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Dykho after an update means you accept the revised terms.
